The Crown season 4 will relive Prince Charles and Princess Diana's story, wedding included. Josh O'Connor and Emma Corrin portray the royals in their younger days, and Netflix has just shared a preview of the actress outfitted for the 1981 royal wedding.

The Crown: Princess Diana's wedding dress on Emma Corrin

On Oct. 3, The Crown revealed Corrin's royal wedding look on Instagram. The design aimed for "the same spirit and style" as Diana's real dress, but it was not intended as a "replica" for the actress's portrayal, the series wrote.

According to Hello!, details that vary slightly from Diana's true wedding outfit include the size of the tiara (smaller in real life) and the puffiness of the sleeves and dress (puffier in real life).

Princess Diana actress Emma Corrin on The Crown

Corrin, 24, has spoken previously on stepping out on set in the dress for the first time, saying: "I walked out and everyone went completely silent. More than anything else I wear in the series, it's so... It's her."

Corrin joins The Crown in season 4, which hits Netflix on Nov. 15. She portrays the Princess of Wales for just one season, before Elizabeth Debicki takes over for the show's final two seasons.

The Netflix royal drama released a first trailer in August and shared new looks at several characters last month. Joining Corrin in season 4 is Gillian Anderson, as Margaret Thatcher, the other notable introduction in the new season.
