Kelly Clarkson has no time for Twitter trolls who try to shame her! As People reports, on Thursday the singer received a hateful tweet from someone called "AnnieB," who said that Clarkson's marriage didn't last because of her career.

Clarkson attacked for "taking Simon's place" on AGT

Clarkson's recent stint as guest judge on America's Got Talent was what caused "AnnieB" to attack her online."now Kelly is taking Simon's place...no wonder her marriage didn't work...surprise she has time for her kids..." the Twitter troll's tweet read.

"not the good old country girl we fell in love with...it's all about Kelly being on tv...and no one else...no tears for her...but for her kids." However, Clarkson happened to see the tweet since it was in reply to one of her own, and certainly had something to say about it!

Clarkson stands up for herself after online shaming

Clarkson responded to the tweet, mentioning her strength of character. "Wow," she tweeted. "Shaming a woman who has a great work ethic, is a great mom, and who steps up and fills in when a friends asks for a favor because that’s actually what "good old country girls" do.... this can’t be who you are deep down."

Instead of attacking the troll though, Clarkson encouraged them to do better! "I have more faith in your heart. Aim higher please," she wrote. Clarkson stepped in to judge this week's America's Got Talent live shows after the usual judge, Simon Cowell, had to undergo surgery for a serious bike accident.

Clarkson filed for divorce from husband Brandon Blackstock in June. A source says the issues between the two grew during quarantine, and that Clarkson seems to be doing okay! She and Blackstock have two kids together— 6-year-old daughter River Rose, and 4-year-old son Remington "Remy" Alexander. Good for Clarkson for taking a stand and not letting herself be shamed!
