• Prince William and Kate are moving to Windsor
  • The royals plan to move there for the Queen
  • However, it should be a private home

Prince William, 39, and Duchess Kate, 40, have plans to move! The royal couple are reportedly planning to move from London to Windsor later this year.

Accordingly, the Cambridge family is already looking for a house. However, a royal villa is not in their plans. Rather, William and Kate are said to have their eyes on a private home.

As reported by the MailOnline, insiders say the pair could be interested in Frogmore Cottage on the grounds of Windsor Castle or Adelaide Cottage on Home Park in Windsor.

The children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and little Prince Louis are said to have already inquired about schools. They're rumoured to be looking at schools in Buckinghamshire, Windsor, Surrey, and the Lambrook School in Ascot.

You'll recall that Queen Elizabeth decided to make Windsor Castle her permanent home and principal residence. William and Kate now want to do the same so that they are closer to her.

In this way, they can better support the 95-year-old monarch with royal duties and events — and there will be plenty of those in 2022.

Expect to see lots of Duchess Kate and Prince William

Expert Jonathan Sacerdoti is sure Kate and Prince William will be in the public eye this year, telling Royally US: "I think they will have many public events. What they have been doing over the last few months has been well received and word is that they will be doing more charity work and going to more events."

This is intended so Prince William and Duchess Kate can relieve the Queen, who will no longer make as many appearances in her mid-90s. For the Queen, William and Kate are a great support. The two are very committed to the Royal Family.

Also interesting:

What's more, the Queen is said to be leaning heavily on Kate these days. "Kate will step up, and I know the Queen hugely values her support, and will rely on her more than ever," biographer Katie Nicholl recently told Closer.

And even at events where the Queen is present, she is now always be accompanied by another royal. However, that "royal support" recently shocked everyone, because the Queen came to Prince Philip's memorial service with her son Prince Andrew. It was his first public appearance since his sex scandal.

But of course Kate and William also supported the Queen at the memorial service. We're very curious about which beautiful property will be the new home for the royal couple in Windsor.
